The History of UCSB PRIDE

Ever since the first TQC Pride Week was held in 2010, Pride Week has been made into an annual week-long, student-run event filled with queer drag and fashion shows, workshops, events, and seminars. UCSB Pride Week has been a staple in our community since 1989, originally led by the Queer Student Union. Now, the A.S. Trans and Queer Commission hosts Pride Week and upholds the tradition of developing events for queer solidarity across the UCSB campus. 

2025-2026 Pride Week will be hosted during week 2 of Spring quarter, from April 5th- April 11th!
